ABOUT MACINNIS DESIGN & CONSULTING
Meet Gerry MacInnis
Gerry has been in the landscape industry since 1985 when he began his career working for a landscape construction company in Sydney. After three years of experience, he decided to pursue an education in landscape horticulture, attending the University of Guelph before transferring to Dalhousie University (Nova Scotia Agricultural College), where he graduated in 1993.
Seeking experience on larger commercial projects, he became the site foreman for the landscape construction at St. Thomas University in Fredericton. Once this project was completed, he served as the landscape manager for a company in Halifax for over ten years and then owned and operated MacInnis Design & Construction Services in the Annapolis Valley for another ten years, where he scaled down and focused on the design aspect.
Presently, Gerry is the exclusive designer for landscape companies in Halifax, Annapolis Valley, Sydney, Moncton, Shediac, and Saint John. His designs are created to scale using PROLandscape software.
